She is a strong believer of what evidence-based health care and knowledge translation can bring to individual patients and to societies and has been promoting this in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region for more than 25 years.
Cliff is the Director of Cochrane Taiwan, Director of EBM Centre & Division of Plastic Surgery of Wan Fang Hospital, and a Professor in Taipei Medical University. As a pioneer in the development of EBM in Taiwan, he established the first EBM Centre in northern Taiwan which has been active in providing EBM training programmes for front-line health professionals since 2001.

David has been working in academia since 2000, with a focus on clinical care and evidence-based medicine since 2010. Upon completion of his PhD, he joined the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine and his role is now divided between research, teaching and outreach activities.
